Does Taiwan have desert landscapes too? A netizen captured breathtaking desert photos in Yuanli, Miaoli, where the yellow sands seem endless, stretching endlessly into the golden horizon under the sunlight. The surreal golden hue of the landscape in the sun, coupled with the blue sky reflecting off the sand, left everyone who saw the photos exclaiming, "Taiwan actually has this kind of scenery!"

The beautiful desert landscape is located in Yuanli, Miaoli, on what is known as Taiwan’s “Little Desert.” Stretching one kilometer along the coast, the rolling sand dunes, whipped by the wind into rippling waves of yellow, evoke a desolate and lonely desert vibe. Michael Chang, the admin of the Facebook fan pageTraveler's Photography Log, captured this series of photos during sunset, where sunlight spilled over the sands and the wind-swept ripples were clearly visible — truly beautiful.
