Typhoon Krathon continues moving northward and affecting Taiwan. The Central Weather Bureau issued a land warning at 11:30 AM on the 28th. The most significant impact on Taiwan is expected this afternoon through tomorrow morning, with the alert zone covering Hualien and Yilan. Keelung and New Taipei City are likely to be included later. Affected by Typhoon Krathon, airlines have also announced flight disruptions.

TransAsia Airways stated that due to Typhoon Krathon, the round-trip flight GE686 between Taoyuan and Ishigaki Island scheduled for tomorrow (the 29th) has been rescheduled to depart from Taoyuan at 9:00 AM on the following day (the 30th). Flight GE685 has been adjusted to depart from Ishigaki Island at 12:00 PM local time on the 30th. All other flights will operate as normal. Passengers are advised to pay close attention to flight information before heading to the airport.
