China Airlines launches flights from Taoyuan to Busan    Early bird tickets start at just NT$4,120

China Airlines has newly launched the Taoyuan–Busan route, which officially begins service on September 1. The airline is offering early bird fares with prices under NT$5,000 before tax. Travel time from Taoyuan to Busan, South Korea’s second-largest city, is less than two and a half hours, making it more convenient for travelers to visit well-known events in Busan such as the Busan International Film Festival and the Busan International Fireworks Festival. China Airlines has also introduced a curated “Refined Travel to Busan” package, which includes round-trip airfare plus two nights of accommodation at a special pre-tax price of just NT$9,990.

China Airlines stated that to celebrate the launch of the new route, early bird promotional fares are available with pre-tax prices starting at just NT$4,120 for bookings made 30 days in advance. Fares paired with a dual-entry itinerary via Seoul are also available starting at just NT$6,180 before tax, while a Japan–Korea combo fare including Fukuoka is available from NT$9,100 before tax. Starting in September, there will be a total of 27 weekly flights to South Korea, including 11 flights between Taoyuan and Incheon, 7 flights between Kaohsiung and Incheon, 3 flights between Songshan and Busan/Gimpo, and 6 flights between Taoyuan and Busan/Gimhae.

Busan is one of the most popular cities for Taiwanese travelers visiting South Korea. It hosts internationally renowned events such as the Busan International Film Festival and the Busan Biennale, which attract large numbers of visitors. Famous tourist attractions include Songdo Beach, Haeundae Beach, Taejongdae, and Yongdusan Park.
