According to forecasts from the Taipei Astronomical Museum, this summer will feature a partial lunar eclipse on the night of August 7 and the Perseid meteor shower on August 12, with over 100 meteors per hour visible at their peak. To celebrate, the hotel has launched a special stay package, inviting guests to enjoy the celestial spectacle.

Capitalizing on the summer family travel season, the Grand Earth Hotel has introduced the “Grand Earth Summer Starry Night” stay package—9,999 TWD per room for one night with two meals, plus an additional 1,500 TWD on holidays. The “Nighttime Stargazing” activity takes place every evening from 8:30 to 10:00 PM on the terrace, where the hotel’s “Star Prince and Princess” will explain astronomical phenomena in an engaging way, starting with the brightest stars like Vega and Altair, offering families a unique and romantic midsummer night experience.
