“Duty-Free Paradise” Guam Shopping Festival  Satisfies Shoppers from Around the World

The “Guam Shopping Carnival,” organized by the Guam Visitors Bureau, will take place from November 29 to January 5, 2014, warmly inviting tourists from all over the world to embark on an exceptional value shopping journey. Spanning 38 days, the Guam Shopping Carnival offers attractive discounts to satisfy shoppers’ desires, along with fashion shows, cooking demonstrations, cultural activities, and more. It will also release shopping guides and a mobile app in eight languages to ensure visitors fully enjoy the travel pleasures of a duty-free shopping paradise.

Karl Pangelinan, Director of the Guam Visitors Bureau, said: “We hope to showcase Guam as a world-class shopping destination through the Guam Shopping Carnival. Here, you’ll find the best luxury deals that will surely leave visitors from afar highly satisfied. This year marks the second edition of the Guam Shopping Carnival, which has expanded in scale and introduced a more diverse range of activities and content, allowing travelers to enjoy shopping while also experiencing Guam’s traditional ‘Håfa Adai’ spirit and unique island culture.”
