Save time and money: Taiwan Tourist Shuttle + High-Speed Rail combo ticket with “double 80% off” discount before Feb 28 next year

The Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Association, guided by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, has partnered with Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation to launch the “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle + Taiwan High Speed Rail Combo Ticket.” Until December 31, 2018, travelers can purchase 34 tour routes on the “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle” official website and add a high-speed rail ticket to enjoy an 80% discount on the HSR fare. Additionally, from now until February 28, 2018, ordering any of the 34 “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle” routes will come with an extra 80% discount on the original price (valid Sunday to Thursday), effectively giving you a double 80% discount.

The Tourism Bureau guides 24 travel agencies to operate 100 “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle” packaged tour routes. These can pick up and drop off passengers from key transportation hubs such as train stations, airports, and hotels to major tourist attractions. The shuttles offer multilingual audio guides in Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean, as well as free Wi-Fi services. Domestic and international travelers can overcome language barriers through Taiwan Tourist Shuttle journeys, sharing Taiwan’s beautiful scenery and delicious food with friends around the world via social media.

Combining high-speed rail with the “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle” can significantly reduce travel time, minimize fatigue during the trip, and allow visitors to fully enjoy each journey with peace of mind. The Tourism Bureau stated that “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle” routes cover all parts of Taiwan, making it easy for individuals, families, or small groups of friends to travel. Options include rural fruit picking, indigenous tribal performances, Hakka cultural experiences, hot spring cuisine, and thrilling amusement park trips.

In addition to the combo ticket with high-speed rail, the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle also offers a “Train-Bus Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Travel Passport” for just NT$888, providing an 85% discount on two segments of Taiwan Rail (TRA) travel. Travelers can freely choose between TRA and HSR to create the most cost-effective itinerary.
