The Yellow Rubber Duck will “swim” into Kaohsiung’s Glory Pier during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday. The official Kaohsiung-exclusive souvenir rubber duck has made its first appearance—a Q-version duck about 9 cm tall, which will be sold exclusively at Glory Pier on the opening day of the exhibition, September 19, with a limited run of 18,000 pieces. The city government has also secured other licensed merchandise from the original creator, including Yellow Duck fashion T-shirts and commemorative pins, which will also be released in limited quantities.

Organizers stated that the Q-version rubber duck toys sold at the Kaohsiung stop feature the words “Cai Dai Gao” printed on the bottom, making them souvenirs specially designed for Kaohsiung and absolutely unique to this location—any others found elsewhere are definitely counterfeits. The toys have also recently passed safety inspections for children’s products, ensuring they are completely safe for purchase.

Designer Florentijn Hofman has additionally authorized five official versions of Yellow Duck merchandise, including Yellow Duck fashion T-shirts, shaped fans, commemorative pins, and Yellow Duck towels. On the opening day, visitors can visit the official merchandise stalls at Glory Pier for more information.
