What makes a Christmas truly romantic? Enjoying a candlelit dinner in a transparent igloo while taking in the Repulse Bay night view—that’s romance at its finest. This December, The Pulse mall in Hong Kong’s Repulse Bay has just opened an “igloo restaurant,” where you can enjoy afternoon tea, watch the sunset, and gaze at the night scenery on the mall’s rooftop. In addition to the festive Christmas decorations, there will also be scheduled “snowfall” outside the igloos, immersing you in the cozy winter holiday atmosphere.

This restaurant, Igloo, located on the rooftop of The Pulse mall in Repulse Bay, features five large transparent tents built on the rooftop terrace, resembling Arctic igloos. Each igloo can accommodate up to about six people, making it perfect for romantic dates or gatherings with friends. Sitting inside the igloo, you can enjoy a 180-degree unobstructed view of Repulse Bay while savoring the signature dishes crafted by the monthly guest chef.

To provide customers with a fresh experience, Igloo rotates its chefs every few months. Currently, the restaurant offers both afternoon tea and dinner services. Afternoon tea is priced at approximately HKD 300 (about TWD 1,148) per person, while the four-to-five-course dinner is priced at around HKD 888 (about TWD 3,400) per person. Reservations are required online in advance.
