Seafood lovers rejoice—Pingzi is here to introduce the most jaw-dropping global sensation—Dragon Post Lobster Sandwich / Lobster Burger – Nanjing Longjiang Branch (Lobster.foods), which uses authentic Canadian live lobsters to create lobster sandwiches, risotto, pizza, afternoon tea, soups, and laksa noodles. It’s an indulgent treat that was voted one of GQ Taiwan’s “Must-Eat Foods of 2016,” featured on Foodie Show HAO JIAO XIANG QI and Taiwan’s “1001 Stories.” This incredibly luxurious spot is a top choice for a date on Longjiang Road and a famous IG-worthy café.

To visit the flagship Dragon Post LOBSTER foods store in Nanjing Longjiang, take the bus to Nanjing Longjiang Intersection Station—just a 2-minute walk away. It’s located next to the China Airlines headquarters, tucked away in the alley where Taipei’s Typhoon Soudelor famously knocked over the leaning postbox on Longjiang Road. You can also take the Taipei Metro to Nanjing Fuxing Station, Exit 1, and walk for 5 minutes. There are paid parking lots nearby, which is quite convenient. In addition to this original flagship store on Longjiang Road, there are now second and third branches near Taipei’s Shin Kong Mitsukoshi and Dongmen Station on Yongkang Street, as well as a flagship store in Taichung’s Laike, making it the fourth location. It’s truly impressive—head to any of them for a taste.

The storefront features floor-to-ceiling glass windows, exuding a cozy bistro vibe with an industrial-style decor. Even before stepping inside, the exterior alone sets a relaxed dining mood.

Once inside, you’ll find that Dragon Post LOBSTER foods’ Nanjing Longjiang flagship store has an industrial-style interior with cement floors and red brick walls. The space is long and narrow, divided into front and back dining areas with seating for two, four, and larger groups. The weathered red brick walls and exposed ceiling pipes, along with a row of high-top tables and chairs, give off an elegant bistro feel. It’s perfect for solo diners too—though seating is limited, so it’s best to book ahead to avoid waiting.

Right by the entrance, the star attraction is the live lobster tank at Dragon Post LOBSTER foods’ Nanjing Longjiang flagship store. Owner Ke Zongyou, a seafood importer, personally selects the healthiest and freshest hard-shell lobsters—all live Boston lobsters air-flown from Canada, each weighing about 600g. With their consistently fresh and safe quality, these live lobsters are pricier than frozen ones, but the restaurant insists on using only live lobsters to ensure firm, springy, and top-notch meat quality.
