Meeting peak season demand: Singapore Airlines to return to Athens next June

Singapore Airlines originally announced in October last year that it would suspend its regular “Singapore–Athens” flights. After a full year of the suspension, the airline recently announcedthat it will return to the Greek capital, Athens, between June and October 2014 to meet the demand during the summer travel peak season.
The airline plans to operate two weekly round-trip flights between Singapore and Athens from June 9 to October 9, 2014, using a Boeing 777‑200ER aircraft every Monday and Thursday. The outbound flight from Singapore to Athens, flight number SQ382, will depart at 2:05 a.m. and arrive at 8:30 a.m. The inbound flight from Athens to Singapore, flight number SQ381, will depart at 1:00 p.m. local time and arrive at 4:55 a.m. the following day.
