"Automated" Scenic Restaurant Becomes Taichung’s New Landmark

No need to move — the scenery moves for you！Claimed to be Taiwan’s only seaside rotating restaurant, it officially opened on the 9th on the rooftop of the 25th floor of Tong General Hospital in Wuchi District, Taichung. Standing 116 meters high and covering an area of 100 tsubo (approximately 330 square meters), the restaurant has 160 seats and offers panoramic views of Taichung Harbor and Dajia Mountain, quickly becoming a new landmark of Taichung.

The rotating restaurant completes one full rotation every two hours. In addition to enjoying views of Dajia Mountain and Taichung Harbor, diners can choose between day or night scenery based on their preference. The best part? The view moves around you as you dine！Operating hours are from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, serving breakfast, afternoon tea, lunch, and dinner.

The restaurant offers a selection of steaks, fish fillets, afternoon tea, and a self-service salad bar, with each dish priced between NT$250 and NT$600. The business aims to attract visitors to enjoy Taichung’s mountain, sea, and nightlife views.
