Stroll through Taitung Chulu Ranch – Absolutely stunning on the first visit

Taitung Chulu Ranch was absolutely stunning on my first visit. There’s a vast expanse of grassland, just as beautiful as Nantou’s Qingjing Farm, and compared to the winding Central Cross-Island Highway that tests your sense of balance, the Huatung Highway is much easier to drive. Every time I come here, I find the air so fresh, the weather so nice, and my mood lifted instantly.

Taitung Chulu Ranch is becoming more and more well-planned.

The tree-lined avenue feels really pleasant to walk along when there’s a breeze.

There weren’t many visitors that day, so strolling around felt especially relaxing.



The small horse farm offers horse riding experiences on site, but it’s an additional charge.

Ice cream is a must-try.
Also, their fresh milk cookies are delicious and make great souvenirs.

If you’re not in the mood for food, you can always drink some fresh milk.

Kids can also have fun playing by the water—ah, what a refreshing feeling.

My favorite part, the Chulu grassland, under clear skies and sunshine, with blue sky, white clouds, and green fields. Take a deep breath—it’s so refreshing.

In the past, I loved the sea the most, because as I moved up and down with the waves,
my whole being would feel calm and steady.
That day, the grass gave me the same feeling.
 

Sunlight shone on the distant hillside where a family was playing on the grass sled.
Sliding down the slope, their smiles came so naturally.
It was like returning to childhood—the happiness of youth is actually very simple.
