Taipei International Travel Fair / Final Countdown Breaks Records: A Total of 240,000 Visitors Flood In

On the third day of the Taipei International Travel Fair, which coincided with a sunny Sunday, visitors turned out in large numbers early in the day. The combined attendance at the first and second floors of Hall 1 at the Taipei World Trade Center and all of Hall 3 reached 96,752, a sharp rise of 24.99% from the 77,402 visitors during the same period last year. This sets a new single-day high for the fair, with total attendance over the first three days surpassing 240,000 and hitting 246,088.

Tomorrow (21st) is the final day of the travel fair, with extended hours until 7:00 PM, allowing office workers to take advantage of the later closing time to visit.There will also be many exciting performances on the final day. At 11:00 AM, celebrity chef James will take visitors on a tour of Taiwan at the Taiwan Pavilion, while the Kinmen Pavilion will feature dynamic Show Girls. At noon, the main stage will host the “Love to Travel Photo Contest” awards ceremony, where gold, silver, and bronze awards will be presented, with the top prize being NT$20,000.At 2:00 PM, Shen Wen-Cheng will perform at Phoenix Travel, and at 4:30 PM, Xiao Xiaobin and Mini Bin will appear at Cola Travel. Fans of cultural dances from around the world can enjoy various traditional dance performances held every half hour. There will also be captivating magic shows, food tastings, and DIY activities at tourist factories on the second floor of Hall 1.

To encourage exhibitors to maintain high standards, this year’s event has once again introduced four major awards: “Best Booth Performance Award,” “Best Booth Design Award,” “Best Booth Popularity Award,” and the “Best Performing Group Award,” the latter chosen by public vote. A panel of industry, government, and academic mystery shoppers will evaluate exhibitors based on service quality, creativity, and event content, selecting 5 to 10 outstanding exhibitors in each category. Additionally, the public can participate in online voting, which will account for 10% of the final scores. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 5:00 PM on Monday afternoon at the main stage, where winning exhibitors and performing groups will gather on stage for photo opportunities and applause from the audience.
