Ho Hung Kee, a Hong Kong restaurant with over 60 years of history, has not only received Michelin one-star recognition for five consecutive years but has also won numerous awards, including the Annual Food Grand Award and the Gold Award for Wonton Noodles. In addition to its signature wonton noodles and dry fried beef chow fun, its congee is also highly praised.

Ho Hung Kee’s dry fried beef chow fun is considered the best in Hong Kong. A plate costs HK$88 (approximately NT$352). This dish features beef stir-fried over high heat with precise control of heat and oil, without any tough sinew, earning rave reviews from diners who often wish they could eat more even after being full.
The wonton noodles feature a broth simmered with shrimp, handmade noodles, and wontons filled with 70% shrimp and 30% finely chopped hand-minced pork. The small bowl is HK$35, and the large is HK$49 (approximately NT$140 and NT$196).

There are many types of congee to choose from. Ho Hung Kee emphasizes that every bowl of congee is cooked for over two hours using tofu skin, dried scallops, and pearl rice. Popular congee options include the HK$72 (approximately NT$288) North Mushroom Chicken Congee and the HK$52 (approximately NT$208) Dried Intestine Pork Congee.
