Under the force of the northeastern monsoon, inflating the yellow duck in Taoyuan had been a bumpy ride. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the engineering team, they took advantage of the weakened winds today (24th) and began inflating the duck at 9:30 AM, completing the process by 9:45 AM. The yellow duck will officially meet the public on the 26th.

Houhu Pond in Xinwu Township, Taoyuan County, is the second stop for the yellow duck, but many people are still wondering where this Houhu Pond actually is. The Xinwu Police Substation of the Taoyuan Yangmei Precinct has been receiving an average of over a hundred calls per day since last week, all asking about the location of Houhu Pond and how to get there. The county government’s Transportation Bureau has rushed to produce 125 traffic signs, aiming to have them all installed by the 24th.
