Universal Studios Japan introduces new attractions and experiences every year. To be among the first to enjoy them, many travelers arrive early and queue up before the park opens. But if you want to sleep in a bit more while still reaching the park as quickly as possible, check in at “The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan”! This hotel is just a 1-minute walk from the park entrance and also offers direct bus service from Kansai Airport — its prime location makes it a favorite among many visitors.

Opened in 2015, The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan is designed with an American theme, incorporating elements from New York, Los Angeles, and Hawaii. For example, the hotel lobby features a luxurious black-and-gold color scheme paired with crystal chandeliers, exuding a high-end, opulent vibe. The spacious lobby feels almost like stepping into the grand hall of Hogwarts Castle, while the restaurant is designed in a Hawaiian style, allowing guests to enjoy their meals in a bright, airy space with views of the outdoors and plenty of sunshine.

In terms of room design, The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan takes inspiration from a time tunnel, with different floors showcasing various eras of American culture. Each floor’s theme is reflected in the interior decor of its guest rooms, using popular design elements from that period. In addition, all guest rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of either the park or the city. Over half of the rooms are designed with beds facing the window, allowing guests to enjoy day and night views of Osaka from their beds — or fall asleep under the night sky.

The hotel mainly offers three types of rooms based on floor levels: Standard Rooms on floors 4 to 7, Superior Rooms on floors 8 to 25, and Luxury Rooms on floors 26 to 28. Guests staying on the 26th floor and above not only have access to a dedicated check-in area where they can be assisted by staff while seated on a sofa, but also receive special room keys. To reach these floors, guests must use card-key access elevators.

The Park Front Room on the 28th floor is the most premium accommodation in the hotel. Spanning 89.3 square meters and accommodating only two guests, this room boasts a spacious bathroom as well as large windows that offer stunning night views of Osaka — whether you’re soaking in the bath or winding down before sleep. On clear days, you can even take in the entire Universal Studios Japan park from above, and from a height of 100 meters, gaze out at Awaji Island and Kobe for the ultimate experience.

To tie in with the time tunnel concept, every evening at 8 PM, time travelers appear in the hotel lobby. Guests can ask them for the The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan check-in passport. Each stay earns a stamp, along with a small gift. As the number of stamps increases, so does the variety of gifts received.
