When "Dongsen Mountain Resort Hotel" discovered hot springs on June 16, 2000, to confirm the quality of the spring water, it specially conducted sampling at locations such as Zhiben Hot Springs, Sihchongxi Hot Springs, Guanziling, and Yangmingshan Hot Springs. The newly discovered hot spring water was also sent to the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ Bureau of Commodity Inspection and Testing for laboratory analysis. The results confirmed thatthe Yangmei hot spring water is in no way inferior to that of other regions,and in fact, some mineral contents are even higher.It has specially designed private hot spring rooms where guests can fully and privately enjoy the colorless, odorless, and beautifying sodium bicarbonate spring water, also known as the “Beauty Soup.”
