Cathay Pacific opens new lounge at Hong Kong Airport — “Harmony Lounge” offers a homely vibe

After nine months of construction, Cathay Pacific’s sixth lounge at Hong Kong International Airport“Harmony Lounge”has officially opened. Unlike the typical impression of lounges as mysterious and exclusive, world-renowned architect Foster + Partners conceptualized it as a refined residence. With warm tones, wooden flooring and carpeting, along with abundant natural light, the Harmony Lounge exudes a homely atmosphere, making your journey more comfortable.

The quality of food and the comfort of resting spaces are undoubtedly among the top priorities for passengers using the lounge. The Harmony Lounge’s bakery provides freshly baked bread, pastries, pizza, sandwiches, authentic Chinese and Western soups, and healthy salads. The gourmet buffet area offers a variety of Chinese and Western hot and cold dishes, desserts, and salads. The café also serves freshly ground coffee, black tea, muffins, and various pastries.

The Harmony Lounge features north and south wings, with its unique Y-shaped layout and floor-to-ceiling windows offering passengers stunning views of Hong Kong Airport. The interior also includes open bookshelves for passenger use, adding a cultural touch. In addition to the promenade bar and lounge hall, the Harmony Lounge houses nine private bathrooms constructed with natural travertine and oak walls, allowing passengers to unwind and refresh before their journey.
