Responding to New Year’s Eve Airfare Hike Policy, Uni Air Launches Three Options Including a 14-Day Early Bird Scheme

The Civil Aeronautics Administration announced that new domestic airfares will be implemented starting January 1, 2014. In response, Uni Air has rolled out various options, including early bird discounts, giving travelers more choices.

To align with the new fare structure, Uni Air is introducing a range of promotions tailored to different customer segments as follows:
1. Providing a Buffer Period for Passengers Holding Old Fares: To ease the burden on passengers traveling home for Lunar New Year, those holding valid tickets issued on or before December 31, 2013, and flying on or before February 6, 2014, will not need to pay any fare difference.
2.In line with the government’s policy of “no fare increase for outlying island residents,” airfares for residents of outlying islands will remain unchanged.
3.Launching a Special 30% Off Early Bird Ticket: To mitigate the impact of the new fare policy on passengers, Uni Air will offer special 30% off early bird fares on selected flights from January 1 to June 30, 2014. Passengers who book at least 14 days in advance via the Uni Air website, the Uni Air app, or convenience stores may have the chance to purchase these discounted tickets. In addition, Uni Air will periodically offer limited-time pre-sale discount tickets through its official website, the Uni Air app, and convenience stores. These offers are tailored to different consumer groups, and the airline will also collaborate with local governments, tourism bureaus, and related travel industries to launch attractive travel packages.
