Travel Center / Comprehensive Report
Starting December, EVA Air will offer French Ladurée macarons in business class on flights to Paris, France, and Yoku Moku plain cigar cookies on flights to Japan, treating passengers to classic local sweets.
According to EVA Air, Ladurée was founded in 1862, and its most famous creation is the macaron, pioneered by the founder’s grandson Pierre Desfontaines, which has been all the rage in Paris for a century. EVA Air has partnered with Ladurée to exclusively serve its macarons on BR88 Paris–Taipei flights, allowing business class passengers to enjoy the delicacy after their meal.
EVA Air has also collaborated with Yoku Moku, overcoming challenges related to cookie transportation and preservation, to serve Yoku Moku plain cigar cookies on flights departing Taiwan for Haneda/Narita/Osaka/Sapporo/Asahikawa/Hakodate, and returning from Haneda/Narita/Fukuoka/Osaka.
