Nestled in the convenient and culturally rich Golden Triangle area of Wenlin, Lunan, and Taida, Aura Café’s house-roasted coffee shines brilliantly. The café’s owner, Yu Zhiqi, a philosophy graduate from National Taiwan University, is tall, slender, and gentle—just like his café, which cultivates a literary ambiance perfectly suited to this vibrant district.

Aura Café currently uses a four-kilogram coffee bean roaster. Yu Zhiqi, who holds SCAA (Specialty Coffee Association of America) Q Grader certification, takes his responsibility seriously—signing off on the coffee menu himself, accountable both to the beans and to customers.

The arms race of espresso machines is a thing of the past; hand-brewed coffee is in vogue. Here at Aura Café, they use KALITA grinders, custom wooden hand-brewing stands, and a variety of pour-over kettles and filters. There’s an extensive selection of single-origin coffees, and they boldly serve them in double-walled glass cups—an unconventional yet stylish choice.

Just a five-minute walk from Roosevelt Road’s Taipower Building MRT Station, this is a café where you can unwind, read to your heart’s content, and even chat up close with the owner, Qi Qi, about your coffee experience. Come on over !
