China Eastern Airlines cashes in on Christmas and New Year travel rush – flights to Europe, the US, and Australia from just 4,900 yuan

China Eastern Airlines has launched a “Christmas Limited-Time and Limited-Quantity Promotion,” offering round-trip tickets to Europe and the US from just 4,900 yuan to 5,800 yuan (tax excluded) for travel between now and December 31. Destinations include cities such as New York and London, but travelers must connect via Shanghai before flying to their final destinations in Europe or the US. The return date must also be confirmed in advance.

Travel industry insiders say that under this promotion, as long as you depart before the end of the year, the return date can be within one month after the ticket purchase date, so you don’t necessarily have to return before the year ends. However, the return date must be confirmed in advance, and ticket prices may vary depending on the departure date.

Discounted China Eastern Airlines flight packages to European and American destinations include cities such as Rome, Moscow, Frankfurt, Paris, London, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Hawaii, Vancouver, Sydney, and Melbourne.

Although long-haul flight taxes can exceed 10,000 yuan, the total fare including taxes is still great value — for example, flights to Frankfurt, Germany cost just 16,123 yuan including tax, to Paris 14,325 yuan, to Los Angeles 18,000 yuan, and to Sydney, Australia 16,800 yuan.
