South Korea’s No. 1 Low-Cost Airline | Tigerair Crew Unveils New Uniforms

Tigerair, a young Korean airline, operates flights every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday between Taipei Songshan and Gimpo in South Korea. On December 20, its flight attendants debuted their brand-new uniforms, presenting a fresh new look.

The Taiwan general agent of Tigerair mentioned that the airline ranked first among low-cost carriers in South Korea according to a consumer survey conducted by the Korea Consumer Agency (KCA). In addition to providing 20 kg of free checked baggage and 10 kg of carry-on allowance, the airline also offers complimentary snacks and beverages on board, striving to deliver both cost-effectiveness and a high-quality travel experience. The new flight attendant uniforms were designed with a simple and bright concept, aiming to convey the airline’s vibrant energy to passengers.

The Taipei Songshan–Gimpo route serves as the final piece of the “Northeast Asia Golden Air Route Circle.” Since its launch in April 2012, the route has been served by airlines including China Airlines, EVA Air, Tigerair, and Eastar Jet. Coupled with the Taipei Taoyuan–Seoul and Taipei Taoyuan–Busan routes, air connections between Taiwan and South Korea have become increasingly frequent.
Regarding whether the airline will introduce common low-cost promotions seen among budget carriers, the Taiwan general agent of Tigerair stated that everything still depends on market supply and demand assessments.
