Caesar Hotels' New Banqiao Dual-Brand Property Opens Today, Adding 747 Rooms to New Taipei City

The "Banqiao Caesar Hotel" in New Taipei City’s Xinzhuang Special District and the trendy brand hotel "Fun Taymar Hotel Taipei," both operated by the Caesar Hotels chain under the Hong Kuo Group, will officially open at 11:00 AM today (the 16th). This marks the first time a Taiwanese hotel group has launched two brands in the same commercial area to cater to different types of travelers, adding 747 hotel rooms to New Taipei City in one go. It is also expected to ignite a fierce competition in the hotel market between the two cities.

Optimistic about the future of Taiwan’s tourism industry, Hong Kuo Construction has actively expanded its hotel business since 2017. Following the opening of the "Taipei Cathay Hotel" in Wanhua last month, the "Banqiao Caesar Hotel" and the dual-brand "Fun Taymar Hotel" in New Taipei City’s Xinzhuang Special District officially open today. These two brands target distinct customer segments with clear market differentiation—the former being a standard international tourist hotel, while the latter is a trendy brand hotel designed for millennial travelers.

The "Banqiao Caesar Hotel" enters the New Taipei City hotel market with the concept of "new city, new concept, new hotel," aiming to set a new benchmark for the local market with high-end facilities and attentive service. The hotel has 400 rooms from the 6th to the 31st floor, each with a minimum area of 12 ping, divided into nine room types: Deluxe Room, Elite Room, Boutique Room, Contemporary Triple Room, Classic Family Room, Executive Suite, Administrative Suite, Global Suite, and Presidential Suite.

The rooms of the "Banqiao Caesar Hotel" feature three main color schemes—lake green, ocean blue, and sunshine gold. Chinese-style ink wash patterns are used on the walls and carpets, complemented by warm beige, brown tones, and bright lighting to create a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. For amenities, the hotel offers Bvlgari bath products from France and Italy, Bluetooth speakers for connecting personal phones or tablets to enjoy favorite music, fully automatic capsule coffee machines for brewing premium coffee, and culturally inspired Eastern tea sets for experiencing Taiwanese tea culture. These premium offerings highlight luxury and elegance, catering mainly to high-end guests, corporate meetings, and incentive travel groups.

"Fun Taymar Hotel" is a trendy brand hotel created by the Caesar Hotels chain, with the brand philosophy of "Live Freely, Play Freely!" The hotel combines smart technology with tasteful, fashionable design in both its facilities and services, aiming to attract adventurous, individualistic millennial travelers. The "Fun Taymar Hotel Taipei" has 20 floors and 337 rooms, divided into four room types: Explore Room, Discover Room, Together Suite, and Fun Taymar Suite. The design features geometric patterns and lines, with cool and warm color schemes distinguishing different room types. Each room is equipped with motion-sensing power supply to promote eco-friendliness. All rooms also have large windows offering views of Banqiao’s bustling streets and the "New Taipei Manhattan" cityscape.

To celebrate the openings of the "Banqiao Caesar Hotel" and "Fun Taymar Hotel Taipei," the Caesar Hotels chain is launching the "Caesar & Fun Taymar: New Taipei Getaway Package" from now until February 14 next year. For NT$6,888, guests can stay one night at each property, experiencing the exciting blend of classic and modern styles. During this month’s Christmas season, guests staying at the tech-savvy "Fun Taymar Hotel Taipei" can print free AR photos at the lobby and participate in an AR Christmas gift raffle, with chances to win prizes such as a weekday double room stay voucher, room upgrade voucher, and a commemorative brand beer set. From December 23 to 24, the "Banqiao Caesar Hotel" will host Santa Claus and a live jazz band to interact with guests. Dining at the hotel also enters guests into a Christmas gift raffle, with prizes including stay vouchers, meal vouchers, souvenir thermoses, and Bluetooth speakers—perfect for enjoying the festive Christmas spirit.

Additionally, the "Banqiao Caesar Hotel’s" Jiayan Chinese Restaurant, Carrara Italian Restaurant, and Pong Party Buffet are celebrating the opening with the "Joyful Family" dining promotion, joining guests in celebrating meaningful moments. From now until January 31 next year (2018), groups of 10 or fewer diners who take photos, check in, and leave a review on the hotel’s social media page will enjoy an 85% discount on their meal.
