Stay at Sweden’s Icehotel – Spend the Night with a Polar Bear

When traveling in Nordic countries, after freezing all day outside, everyone looks forward to curling up in a warm room. But Sweden’sICEHOTELis surprisingly popular — attracting over 50,000 visitors each winter to sleep in an icy wonderland, making it one of the region’s most beloved tourist attractions.

Located in Lapland, the Icehotel invites sculptors and designers from across the globe each year to craft distinctive ice rooms. Due to the local climate,the Icehotel typically opens in December and operates through April or May of the following year. This year’s new creations include the Polar Bear Room, the Subway Room, the Cinema Room, the Narcissus Room, and more.。

Because the ice rooms are extremely cold, the hotel provides extra-thick foam mattresses and reindeer skins, along with insulated sleeping bags, ensuring guests can sleep soundly on ice beds.
