Flame & Fluorescent Party – 5,000 Free Fluorescent Accessories at Taitung’s New Year’s Eve Countdown

Taitung’s largest New Year’s Eve event, the “2014 Taitung County New Year’s Eve Party Show,” is set to transform the International Landmark Square into a massive party. Not only will popular singers such as Da Mouth, Huang Yee-ling, and Pan Yue-yun perform live, but 5,400 free fluorescent accessories including wristbands and glasses will also be given out. Coupled with fire dance performances and a spectacular 6-minute “Dance of Flames” fireworks show, Taitung will become a “firefly-lit” New Year’s Eve celebration.

This uniquely themed Taitung New Year’s Eve party takes the form of a celebration, featuring the hip-hop group “Da Mouth” as the closing act and countdown performers. The event will also give away 5,400 free essential fluorescent accessories for the party, along with complimentary fluorescent body painting services. Artists will create designs on attendees’ hands, faces, and other areas, which will glow under special lighting.

The 6-minute “Dance of Flames” high-altitude fireworks show is equally spectacular, with fireworks igniting at the very first second of 2014.

Beyond the New Year’s Eve party, Taitung offers plenty of other attractions. For instance, Sanxiantai is the first spot on Taiwan’s main island to greet the first light of dawn in 2014, and the eye-catching “Bikini Taimali Beach Fun Run” on New Year’s morning are just some of the unique ways Taitung bids farewell to 2013 and welcomes 2014.
