Those who have attended “Mr. Yamada’s Coffee Workshop” will likely recognize this figure. Indeed, he is Mr. Yamada Kiyotaka of Kouritsu Sekai Co., Ltd., the company that directly imports Jamaican Blue Mountain green coffee beans and distributes Japanese KONO coffee equipment. To handle increased business demands, Mr. Yamada moved his workshop and storage to Bo’ai Street in Yonghe District, and officially opened it as Yamada Coffee T2 Shop.
The shop sells both green and roasted coffee beans, all personally imported by Mr. Yamada in limited but premium-quality batches. Additionally, another key focus of the business is the full range of KONO coffee brewing equipment under the “Coffee T2 Syphon Corporation,” including siphon pots, coffee drippers, filter papers and cloths, grinders, and hand drip kettles designed for the KONO drip extraction method.

In this wave of the hand drip coffee revival movement, Mr. Yamada has played a pivotal role. From introducing the custom-designed KONO coffee drippers and the drip extraction method with its dedicated kettle, he has traveled across Taiwan’s coffee shops. Through his meticulous and precise Japanese-style drip brewing, he has helped baristas rediscover the wonder and beauty of hand-brewed coffee.

Although Yamada Coffee T2 Shop does not serve cups of coffee for sale, when industry peers or coffee enthusiasts visit, Mr. Yamada generously shares his skills, carefully brewing authentic traditional Japanese hand drip coffee. The aroma breaks down barriers, and the conversations about coffee never end.
Thank you, Mr. Yamada.
