Along with the excitement of the New Year, the first blush of cherry blossoms in New Taipei City this year has already appeared in a hidden gem — the city-operated Xiaogediao Nursery. Meanwhile, cherry blossoms across all 29 districts of New Taipei City are gearing up to burst into full bloom.
In addition to organizing the “2014 New Taipei City Cherry Blossom Season – Cherry Blossom Mini Tour” from late January to the end of March, the New Taipei City Government has also speciallylaunched the “Cherry Blossom Mini Tour” Photography Competition from January 1st to March 31st. A “Flower Viewing Bulletin” fan page has been set up on Facebook to provide the latest flower viewing information, enabling more blossom viewers and photographers to enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms.
