The Hawaii Tourism Authority’s Taipei Office has launched the “Best Hawaii Couple” campaign today (June 6), offering round-trip flights to Hawaii and accommodation. Couples are invited to submit videos sharing their love stories. Additionally, the event will feature energetic Hawaiian beauties and muscular hunks popping up in the bustling Ximending area on weekends, spreading the vibrant energy of the holiday island.
In ancient Hawaiian, “aikane” signifies love based on deep connection, transcending gender, borders, skin color, race, and age. Embracing the Aloha spirit of Hawaii, the “Best Hawaii Couple” campaign promotes “hope, love, peace, and happiness.” Beyond seeking the most touching and relatable love story videos, the campaign also offers a chance to win round-trip flights to and from Taipei and two nights of accommodation in Hawaii, allowing the winners to write a new chapter of romance on the islands.
The Hawaii Tourism Authority’s Taipei Office will also host flash mob events for three consecutive Saturdays starting June 10, beginning at 10 PM in front of the Red House in Ximending. Energetic Hawaiian beauties will perform hula dances, and muscular hunks will light up the night, bringing the festive island vibe to shine across Taipei.
