The first-ever “Hokkaido Hakodate Products Exhibition” in Taiwan kicked off on June 2 at Mega City Banqiao RT-Mart, featuring the highly popular Petite Merville making its Taiwan debut. The single-bite cheesecake sold over 1,000 boxes within just three days. This Hokkaido-originated single-bite cheesecake, known as Petite Merville, is hailed as a must-buy souvenir from Hakodate. The dessert, made exclusively with fresh milk from the local “Yamakawa Farm” and local golden pumpkin, has deeply won over consumers’ hearts.

Mega City Banqiao RT-Mart launched the “Hokkaido Hakodate Products Exhibition” in the B1 Oasis area, with 90% of the products making their Taiwan debut. The event brought in 60-year-old specialty shops from 14 different regions across Japan. In addition to offering a variety of gourmet snacks, the exhibition also showcased locally iconic products, handicrafts, and cultural features.

The best-selling Petite Merville single Melcheese cheesecake comes in packs of 8, with a recommended retail price of NT$490, while the golden pumpkin double ice cream is priced at NT$120 per piece.
