Walk all the way up to the treetops！Denmark’s “Spiral Sky Trail” is eye-catching

In recent years, sky trails have become popular around the world, but Denmark’s spiral-shaped sky trail, set to open in 2018, is truly unique. Visitors can walk all the way from ground level up to a 45-meter-high viewing platform, taking in the forest scenery from the treetop level.

Dubbed the “Treetop Experience,” the project is a 600-meter-long spiral sky trail that features several rest stops along the way where visitors can pause. The structure is wrapped in a steel frame, spiraling upwards, and resembles an hourglass in shape. As you walk along the trail, you can enjoy layered views of the Nordic forest landscape, and once you reach the top viewing platform, you’ll be greeted with a breathtaking 360-degree panorama.

The project was unveiled by the architecture studio EFFEKT. The sky trail will be located in the forest of the town of Haslev, about an hour’s drive from Copenhagen. In addition to the “Treetop Experience,” the local forest also boasts natural attractions such as lakes, waterfalls, and wetlands. It is expected to open in 2018.
