This Sunday (the 17th), the Taipei Marathon will take place. This event not only pioneered the trend of urban road races in Taiwan but also attracted numerous international runners due to its route, which combines Taipei’s cultural and modern landmarks. The nearby Grand Hyatt Taipei has not only introduced a specially crafted Morning Light Breakfast, but its Cheers Lounge weekend brunch — originally available only on weekends — will also open earlier on race day at 9:00 AM. The brunch features refined main dishes along with an all-you-can-eat light buffet, aiming to energize and applaud runners participating in the event.
The Cheers Lounge weekend brunch allows diners to choose from main courses such as beef, chicken/duck, or seafood, accompanied by a salad bar with mixed greens and seasonal vegetables, freshly baked artisan bread, delicate desserts, seasonal fresh fruits, and after-meal drinks — making it a great way to reward yourself after the race. To help participants in this year’s Taipei Marathon achieve optimal physical and mental condition, Grand Hyatt Taipei is offering an add-on service: for an additional NT$700 with any room booking, a specially prepared Morning Light Breakfast can be delivered to your room during a designated time slot. In addition to enjoying a delicious meal, runners can also take advantage of comfortable accommodations, a 24-hour fitness center, and the Oasis Spa, which offers various stress-relief treatments — all ensuring runners are fully energized for the challenge.
