The New Taipei City Government is promoting the locally selected premium seafood “Gongliao Abalone.” On December 17, 2017, an origin event will be held at Aodi Fishing Port, featuring a limited-time offer of 200 catties of Gongliao Abalone at a promotional price.

Originally priced at NT$600 per catty, the special offer price is just NT$490 per catty.

Also enjoy 300 complimentary servings of freshly grilled blood clams, mackerel, and agar jelly to try.

Plus, there will be free guided tours as well.

Gongliao Abalone Grab Event on December 17 – Taiwanese Delicacy, Guaranteed Satisfaction!

Li Wen, Director of the New Taipei City Agriculture Bureau, said that to give a voice to local blood clam and black plate abalone farmers, the city government established the “Gongliao Abalone” brand in 2014, named after the region.

The brand emphasizes feeding the abalones with natural seaweed, ensuring no drug residues, and maintaining independent brand management.

To help the public learn more about Gongliao’s local industry, the Gongliao District Fishermen’s Association will host an origin event at Aodi Fishing Port on December 17.
