Hong Kong Disneyland has raised its prices for five consecutive years. Today (14th), the park announced that ticket prices will increase starting tomorrow (15th), with an average rise of 5.8%. The price of a standard adult ticket will go up from HK$589 (approximately NT$2,266) to HK$619 (approximately NT$2,382). Hong Kong Disneyland stated that the price adjustment was made in response to various factors such as operating costs and business needs.
Hong Kong Disneyland has increased its prices for five straight years since 2013. Taking the adult ticket as an example: it rose from HK$399 in 2013 to HK$450, then to HK$499 in 2014, HK$539 in 2015, HK$589 in 2016, and HK$619 in 2017—an average annual increase of HK$30–50, totaling a five-year hike of HK$219 (approximately NT$842).
According to reports by ETtoday (東網), starting tomorrow (15th), the standard one-day adult ticket will rise from HK$589 (approximately NT$2,266) to HK$619 (approximately NT$2,382), an increase of HK$30 (approximately NT$115), or 5%; the child ticket will go from HK$419 (approximately NT$1,612) to HK$458 (approximately NT$1,762), an increase of HK$39 (approximately NT$150), or 9%.
Discounts offering 30% off the one-day ticket price for seniors aged 65 and above and people with disabilities remain unchanged—the standard one-day senior ticket is priced at HK$100 (approximately NT$384). Hong Kong residents are eligible for a two-month ticket purchase promotion, allowing them to buy Hong Kong Disneyland tickets at the old prices before February 15 next year.
