This Lunar New Year, the Atayal Resort has specially themed its celebrations around the stories and customs of the Seediq culture, organizing a series of New Year blessing ceremonies and Seediq-themed challenge games. Participants can not only experience indigenous culture firsthand and enjoy a unique Lunar New Year celebration, but also stand a chance to win free accommodation vouchers.

The Atayal Resort preserves both Atayal and Seediq cultures. In addition to indigenous-style tribal houses on Taiwan Island, it also features Taiwan’s first story museum themed around Seediq legends and history. The resort has planned a series of blessing activities based on indigenous stories, including a New Year Lucky Ball Competition to bring visitors good fortune for the Year of the Horse. Centered around Seediq mythology, the resort has also organized a large-scale challenge game series. By participating in these games and sharing their experiences on social media, visitors can win discounted accommodation vouchers and small gifts.

The Atayal Hot Springs at the resort is also one of the few legally certified hot spring facilities in Nantou. Its sodium bicarbonate-rich waters have skin-nourishing effects, offering visitors an excellent soaking experience.
