The Korea Tourism Organization held the “Saranghae~ Taiwan！Best Friends Forever” concert tonight (13th), aiming to promote tourism friendship between Taiwan and Korea and to show appreciation for Taiwanese travelers’ love for Korean trends. The event featured popular Korean groups ZE:A, Secret, idol singer Bii (Bi Shu Jin), as well as performance troupes JUMP and BIBAP Bibimbap Show, attracting nearly 3,000 attendees.

Liu Chen Hao, director of the Korea Tourism Organization’s Taipei branch, said in an earlier interview that performances are almost always included in group tours from Taiwan to Korea, and they are extremely popular.Moreover, after the Korean variety show “Grandpas Over Flowers” aired, it sparked a “Korea craze for Taiwan” locally, with the number of Koreans visiting Taiwan increasing by as much as 80% just since September. To show gratitude to Taiwan, the Korea Tourism Organization organized this concert featuring a diverse lineup including popular idol groups, vocal performances, and martial arts, hoping to give back to Taiwanese travelers.
