Super romantic: Hold your wedding at Penghu’s “Lovers’ Secret Spot” — the Double-Heart Stone Weir

Where is the most romantic place to hold a wedding? Penghu County is launching the “Romantic Qimei, Guarding Love” group wedding, inviting 10 couples to tie the knot on September 5th to 7th at Qimei’s most romantic landmark — the “Double-Heart Stone Weir.” The organizers have planned a wedding rehearsal, a tour, an open-air wedding banquet, and even a “Bathing Forever in Love” activity to be held in the afternoon of the wedding day. It will definitely be an unforgettable experience for the couples.

The Penghu Tourism Department stated that Qimei Island, located at the southernmost tip of Penghu, boasts unique basalt geological landscapes, azure coastlines, and vast green meadows. Among them, the romantically symbolic Double-Heart Stone Weir is also known as the “Lovers’ Secret Spot.” The year 2014, which sounds like “love you for a lifetime” in Chinese, makes this the perfect location for weddings, with hopes that couples will be as inseparably connected as the Double-Heart Stone Weir.

Registration for the event is open from now until June 6th. During the three-day wedding period, the organizers will record everything and later edit a highlight video to present to the couples.
