Campaign Launched to Collect Old Photos of Yehliu’s Queen’s Head; Grand Prize iPhone 5S

The Queen’s Head in Yehliu is a world-famous geological landmark, a must-visit destination for nature lovers and tourists from around the globe, and the symbol of Yehliu. In 2013, it set a new record with 2.78 million visitors.

To welcome 2014, the North Coast & Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration under the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (hereinafter referred to as the North Coast Administration) came up with the concept of “Happy North Coast” and planned the “Love ‘Memories’ of the Queen’s Head” — an old photo collection campaign. The goal is to use “memories of the Queen’s Head” as a bridge for communication, reviving beautiful memories related to the Queen’s Head through old photos capturing people’s past experiences at this iconic site, while also allowing participants to feel the power of nature through these images and inspiring greater respect and protection for the natural environment.

The campaign runs for six months from March 3 to August 31, 2014 (Year 103 in Taiwan’s calendar), with prizes including an iPhone 5S, iPad mini, and North Coast travel packages.
