Taiwan International Orchid Show, One of the World's Top 3 Orchid Exhibitions, Makes a "Stunning" Debut in Tainan

One of the world's top three orchid exhibitions, the Taiwan International Orchid Show, will be held in Tainan from March 8 to 17. This year also marks the 10th anniversary of the event. The organizers have planned "Ten Highlights," featuring ten themed exhibition zones. In addition to showcasing thousands of orchid species from around the world, the show will also feature cultural and creative merchandise inspired by orchids. The Tainan City Government has partnered with bus operators to offer free rides on special orchid shuttle buses for those using electronic payment cards — a great deal visitors should take advantage of.

The Taiwan International Orchid Show is ranked among the world’s top three orchid exhibitions, alongside the "Tokyo Orchid Show" and the "World Orchid Show."For its 10th anniversary, a special “Amazing Ten: A Decade of Surprises” theme exhibition has been created at the Taiwan Orchid Plant Biotechnology Park in Houli District, Tainan. The event features ten major exhibition areas, including a decade review exhibition, an exotic culture zone, an orchid market, an orchid cultural and creative art zone, and an orchid lifestyle application zone.

In addition to admiring the dazzling array of orchids, the organizers have also developed biotech products related to orchids, including beauty and skincare items, health supplements, and cosmetics. Orchid patterns have also been incorporated into cultural and creative merchandise such as handbags, hats, premium silver accessories, and phone cases.

The Tainan City Transportation Bureau reminds visitors that those arriving by train can disembark at Xinrong Railway Station and transfer to the “Yellow Main Line” of the Greater Tainan Bus system to get to the event. The Yellow Main Line runs every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 10 minutes on weekends. Those arriving by high-speed rail should get off at Chiayi Station and transfer to the “Yellow 9” bus at Exit 2, which runs every 30 minutes. Holders of electronic payment cards such as EasyCard, TaiwanPass, FarEasTone ETC, and iPASS can enjoy free transfer benefits.
