White Day is approaching   China Airlines offers 50% off for couples booking flights together

To coincide with the upcoming White Day on March 14, a national airline has launched an online ticket booking promotion titled “White Day – Invite Your Loved One for Sweet Moments.” From March 11 to March 24, the public will have the chance to purchase round-trip flights to Asia at a minimum discount of 50%, allowing them to enjoy affordable travel with family or loved ones.

White Day originated in Japan as a day to reciprocate gifts received on Valentine’s Day on February 14. China Airlines’ White Day campaign invites visitors to access a dedicated webpage and log in with their China Airlines membership to join the “White Day – Invite Your Loved One for Sweet Moments” event. Participants will receive a digital discount code, giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy “Buy 2, Get 15% Off per Person,” with an additional 7% off on bookings for two. Or they may win even better deals such as “Buy 2, 1 Free” for a 50% discount on a couple’s tickets, or “Buy 2, 1 Half Price” for a 25% discount on both tickets. The discount codes can be used to book round-trip flights for two people traveling between Taiwan/China and various Asian destinations (excluding flights departing from Japan), across all cabin classes. Travelers accompanied by children can also enjoy the same ticket discounts as adults.

At the same time, to encourage passengers to make greater use of China Airlines’ e-services for check-in procedures, from now until April 30, 2014, those who use the website to print boarding passes independently and those who complete self-check-in at airports for flights departing from Taiwan will be eligible for an 12% discount on in-flight duty-free purchases. Additionally, those who use these services before June 30 will also receive a US$15 online flight booking discount voucher. Passengers who use e-services before December 31 will also have the chance to win free round-trip economy class tickets from Taipei to various Asian destinations (excluding Delhi).
