TransAsia Airways sees continued profit growth, announces average 3% salary raise for employees

TransAsia Airways Group today announced that all employees will receive salary adjustments starting March 2014 based on individual performance. The adjustment will be based on personal evaluations,with an average range of approximately 3%, between approximately 3% to 4%. Those with better performance will receive relatively higher raises as recognition, while those with poorer performance will not receive adjustments in order to implement the company’s reward system.

Since the beginning of this year, TransAsia Airways has maintained double-digit revenue growth, with cumulative turnover in the first two months reaching NT$1.97 billion, up 12.24% compared to the same period last year. The airline has also successively announced new developments in international routes such as the reopening of flights to Ishigaki Island in Japan and increased flights to Osaka. For newly allocated cross-strait routes, including Quanzhou and Guiyang, as well as additional quotas and converted regular flights to Zhangjiajie, Nanning, and Xuzhou, the airline plans to launch them as soon as possible to continue boosting operational momentum.

TransAsia Airways stated that 2014 is a key year for the group’s transformation. In the future, the company will continue to promote outstanding talent and reward high-performing units, hoping to give back to employees’ efforts through salary increases.
