Grieving over the Qingming holiday? No worries—stroll through Tainan’s historic city and enjoy guided tours of Anping Old Street without a break

In response to the Qingming holiday period, the Tainan City Government Tourism Bureau continues to offer uninterrupted guided tour services throughout the break. A total of nine free city sightseeing tour sessions will be available over the three days. The public can start making online reservations from 8:00 AM on March 21.

The Tainan City Government Tourism Bureau has introduced two popular city walking routes in recent years—"Tainan Historic Stroll" and "Anping Old Street Tour"—both of which have received widespread acclaim. Since their launch in July 2011, over 8,000 visitors have joined these tours, showing that city walking tours have become a new travel trend.

During this holiday period, the “Anping Old Street Tour” will be offered twice daily: from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, totaling six sessions over three days. The meeting point is at the main entrance of Anping Tree House (No. 108, Gubao Street, Anping District, Tainan City). The “Tainan Historic Stroll” will be held once daily from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with three sessions over three days. The meeting point is at the main entrance of the National Museum of Taiwan Literature (No. 1, Zhongzheng Road, West Central District, Tainan City). A total of nine free guided city tour sessions are available across both routes, and the public is welcome to take part.
