Travelers Vote “Top 10 Vacation Islands in the World” – Thailand’s Koh Tao Is Asia’s Only Entry

Thailand has always been a country beloved by travelers worldwide, frequently appearing in rankings by magazines and online platforms across various countries. Recently, the well-known website TripAdvisor announced the second edition of the “Top 10 Best Vacation Islands in the World” as voted by travelers. The first place went to Ambergris Caye in Belize’s Belize Barrier Reef, while Thailand’s Koh Tao, which secured tenth place, is the only island from Asia to make the list.

The second release of the Best Vacation Islands award list is based on the highest-rated hotels, restaurants, and the quality and quantity of attractions listed for each island over the past 12 months. It recognizes over 100 islands globally, including the top ten vacation islands from Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, South America, the South Pacific, and the United States. Focusing solely on Asia, Koh Tao is ranked first, followed by Indonesia’s Gili Islands, and the Philippines’ Boracay.
