Latest Update: Free Admission to All Taiwan Children's Day Holiday Attractions

As the Children's Day holiday approaches, amusement parks, museums, and other venues across Taiwan are offering free entry for children and other promotions. ETtoday EVA Air Travel Cloud has compiled a list of Children's Day deals at recreational spots nationwide, inviting everyone to take advantage of the three-day break, get out and enjoy the spring sunshine.

Taipei City:Taipei Astronomical Museum and Taipei Zoo offer free admission for children under 12 and one accompanying parent. The Taipei Children’s Amusement Center offers free entry for children during the holiday period. The Taipei City Department of Education is distributing 200,000 copies of the “Happy Children’s Month” leaflet to elementary schools, with 20,000 placed at the Taipei City Government Service Center. With the leaflet, elementary and middle school students can ride the Maokong Gondola and visit the Taipei 101 Observatory for free from April 1 to 30 (requires one paying adult accompanying the child).

New Taipei City:The 12th Century Museum, Tamsui Historic Museum, Gold Museum, Pinglin Tea Industry Museum, Banqiao 435 Art Zone, and Lin Family Mansion offer free entry for children under 12. At Yehliu Ocean World, children under 12 can enter for free when accompanied by one adult who purchases a ticket on-site.

Taoyuan County:Xiaowulai Skywalk in Fuxing Township offers free entry for children and one parent during the 3-day holiday.

Hsinchu City:Hsinchu Zoo offers free entry for schoolchildren under 12 on Children's Day.

Hsinchu County:Lihpao Land Theme Park offers free entry for children during the 3-day holiday. Doraemon Science Theme Park offers a special price of NT$150 for visitors aged 3 and above (junior high and below) during the Children's Day holiday, with adult accompanying tickets at a discounted price of NT$350. Students with valid student IDs can enjoy a special ticket price of NT$320.

Miaoli County:Shangri-La Amusement Park offers free entry for children under 12 (requires parent accompaniment, discounted ticket price NT$360).

Taichung City:Wuling Farm and Fushoushan Farm offer free entry for children (insurance fee of NT$10 applies). Houbi Horse Ranch and Daxue Mountain Forest Recreation Area offer free entry for children with Taichung residency. Lihpao Land offers a special entry price of NT$100 for children under 12 dressed in “jungle outfits.”

Nantou County:Aowanda Forest Recreation Area and Shanlinxi Ecological Area offer free entry for children during the 3-day holiday.

Yunlin County:Leofoo World Theme Park offers a flat rate of NT$299 for both children and adults during the 3-day holiday, with children under 3 entering for free.

Tainan City:Zouma La Farm offers free entry for elementary school-aged children and below on Children's Day, April 4.

Kaohsiung City:Shoushan Zoo offers free entry for children under 12 from April 1 to 6. The National Science and Technology Museum offers free entry for children on Children's Day. Kaohsiung E-DA Theme Park offers free entry for children under 12 from April 4 to 6 when accompanied by an adult who purchases a ticket on-site.

Hualien County:Hualien Yuan Ze Ocean Park offers free entry during the holiday period for children under 12 from Yilan, Hualien, and Taitung counties/cities (each child must be accompanied by one adult, and ID is required for all). Adults with Hualien residency can enjoy a discounted ticket price of NT$390, while those from Yilan or Taitung can enjoy a discounted price of NT$590. Additionally, adults who purchase an upgrade on-site for NT$1000 (NT$600 for children) will receive an Ocean Annual Pass, allowing unlimited free entry to Yuan Ze Ocean Park.
