Raise environmental awareness: Five-star hotels join the "Earth Hour" lights-off campaign

The global "Earth Hour" one-hour lights-off initiative, launched by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), will take place this year at8:30 PM on March 29. Domestic five-star hotels are also participating by turning off exterior lighting and encouraging guests to step out of their roomsto save energy.

The Hotel Éclat Beijing has announced that from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM on the day of "Earth Hour," it will turn off the hotel’s exterior signage lights, façade lights, projection lights, and garden lights. It will also appropriately dim or switch off non-essential indoor lighting, and promote guest participation through in-hotel digital displays and eco-friendly paper notices in guest rooms, aiming to raise awareness about global warming. In addition, the hotel encourages guests to leave their rooms to reduce energy consumption. Those who present an event-specific room letter and visit The Terrace on the sixth floor between 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM to enjoy a natural series three-color beverage will receive a 50% discount.
