No cars or motorcycles allowed！ The “Crescent Moon Scenic Bridge,” which will be accessible only to pedestrians and cyclists, connects Banqiao and Xinzhuang districts in New Taipei City and is set to officially open at the end of April. The bridge will also feature nighttime light projection displays to make it even more vibrant after dark. Spanning 725 meters in length, the Crescent Moon Bridge includes four themed curved viewing platforms, making it the third pedestrian scenic bridge in New Taipei City, following the Yangguang Bridge over the Xindian River and the Dragon Kiln Bridge over the Yingge River.

The Crescent Moon Bridge is located about 500 meters upstream from the Xin Hai Bridge. It features two arch-shaped moon-like structures and connects Banqiao’s 435 Art & Cultural Special Zone with Xinzhuang Old Street, areas rich in schools, cultural venues, and historical sites. It is currently the longest dual-span steel arch bridge in Taiwan. In addition to four scenic platforms—“Art of Curves,” “Shadows of Light,” “Reflections of Water,” and “Rhythm of Wind”—the bridge also has a 60-meter transparent skywalk offering views over the river.

Also known as the Fuzhou Xin Hai Scenic Bridge, the Crescent Moon Bridge is the fourth major bridge connecting the Xinzhuang and Banqiao areas. The other three are the Dahan Bridge, Xin Hai Bridge, and Banxin Motorcycle Connector Bridge.
