Traveling to Shenkeng is now more convenient! The New Taipei City and Taipei City Transportation Bureaus have jointly launched the new Bus Route 949 “New Taipei City Shenkeng District – MRT Guting Station,” which began service on March 29. The entire journey takes just 30 minutes. The first bus departs at 6:00 AM, and the last bus at 10:00 PM. During weekday peak hours, buses run every 10 to 15 minutes; off-peak, every 15 to 20 minutes; and on weekends, every 20 to 30 minutes.

Bus Route 949 starts at Beishen Road in Shenkeng, travels along National Freeway 3A, and upon entering Taipei City, passes through Xinhai Road and Roosevelt Road, with the terminal station at MRT Guting Station. The return route turns onto Heping East Road, Shida Road, and Da’an Forest Park, then returns along Xinhai Road to follow the original path. The full route spans 21 kilometers and uses a two-section fare system, with the section dividing point at National Freeway 3A.
