The Cingjing Museum of Art Christmas Village is now in its 10th year. This year, themed around “dreams,” it features oversized beds and small beds placed outdoors, adorned with various-sized moons. At night, the planets glow and change colors. All the beds are available for visitors to lie on and daydream, creating a fantastical, dreamlike cosmic scene that looks amazing both day and night. It’s become one of the hottest new photo spots in Taichung.

The 2017 Yuguang Island Art Festival, themed “99 Ways to Loaf Around on Yuguang Island,” featured 14 land art installations that attracted many visitors. Although the event has ended, the organizers have kept the Sunset Tower, Whispering Intertidal Zone, and Misty Forest on display. Among them, the massive sphere in the Whispering Intertidal Zone stands alone on the tidal flats, evoking a somewhat desolate feeling—as if you’re exploring an unnamed planet in the cosmos.
