New Taipei Sightseeing Factories Celebrate Children's Day by Recruiting Junior Tour Guides

In celebration of Children's Day, two sightseeing factories in New Taipei City — Ivette Ice Cream Dream Factory and Hsu Hsin-Wang Ceramics Memorial Museum — are recruiting junior tour guides. Children will guide visitors on Children’s Day, and through prior training and their own explanations, they can gain a deeper understanding of the industries’ characteristics and significance.

Ivette Ice Cream Dream Factory will hold three “Junior Tour Guide Experience” sessions on Children’s Day.Each session will invite 3 to 4 children under the age of 12to give explanations to the public. Thirty to sixty minutes before each session begins, the children will first go to the main venue for training, and upon completing the tour guiding, they will receive a special gift.

Hsu Hsin-Wang Ceramics Memorial Museum, on the other hand,is seeking three children,aged between 5 and 7,to apply as junior tour guides. Selected children will receive an exclusive goodie bag, as well as a NT$1,980 ceramic art experience voucher that includes 10 experience classes and 2 free firing coupons. Selected children must report to Yingge Xinwang Jici on Thursday (the 3rd) at 1 p.m. to undergo pre-event training.
