Seoul’s famous Banpo Bridge Moonlight Rainbow Fountain has finally reopened in April after a five-month hiatus. Currently, it performs three shows on weekdays and six on weekends. The artificial floating island at Banpo Hangang Park, where the fountain is located, is also one of the filming locations for *Avengers: Age of Ultron*, which is currently being actively shot around Seoul!

The Banpo Bridge Moonlight Rainbow Fountain, open annually from April to October, is a unique way to enjoy the Han River when visiting Seoul. Each performance lasts 15 minutes, during which water is drawn from the Han River and sprayed 20 meters down onto the river’s surface along both sides of a 570-meter section of the bridge. During the day, the water jets create hundreds of different patterns; at night, they are illuminated by 200 rainbow-colored lights symbolizing positivity and hope, producing a spectacular display that has earned it the name “Rainbow Fountain.”

In April, performances are tentatively scheduled at 12 PM, 8 PM, and 9 PM on weekdays, and at 12 PM, 5 PM, 8 PM, 9 PM, and 9:30 PM on weekends. For detailed schedules, check the“Han River Fun” sectionon the Hangang River Project Headquarters website.
